- Merchant of record
- The payment company that sells the plan to you on our behalf. It takes the payment, handles tax and receipts, and its name appears on your bank statement.
- Right of withdrawal
- The EU and UK legal right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days.
- Statutory rights
- Rights the law gives you as a customer. These terms can't take them away.
- Pro-rata refund
- A refund for the part of your plan you haven't used yet.
- Indemnity
- A promise to cover someone else's costs if your actions cause them a loss.
About this page
These terms are an agreement between you and Mithila Labs ("Mithila Labs", "we", "us"), Pune, Maharashtra, India. They cover the website and Prepvo (the "service"). By creating an account or buying a plan you accept them. Please also read our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy and About our AI.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be 18 or older and able to form a binding contract. Keep your login secure and don't share your account; you're responsible for activity on it. Tell us promptly at contact@getprepvo.com if you think someone else has accessed it.
What the service is
Prepvo is a practice and preparation tool. It helps you write application documents from your own information and rehearse interviews with an AI interviewer. We do not guarantee interviews, shortlisting, job offers, visas, salaries or any other outcome. Keyword scores and feedback are guides, not predictions. Employers and their systems make their own decisions.
AI limitations
You interact with AI, not a human. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable, and speech recognition can mishear you. You must review every document before you use it; you are responsible for its accuracy and for what you send to employers. The service does not give legal, visa or immigration, tax, medical, mental-health or financial advice. See About our AI.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- add false or misleading information to your documents, including fake qualifications, certificates, degrees, licences, employers, job titles, dates or references;
- impersonate anyone, create documents for another person without their permission, or upload other people's personal data without a lawful basis;
- use the service, or its output, during a live interview, test, exam or assessment, or in any way that gives you hidden real-time help or breaks an employer's or test provider's rules;
- try to make the AI produce unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit or dangerous content;
- scrape, copy, resell or sublicense the service or its output as a service to others, or share accounts;
- probe, overload, reverse-engineer or bypass security, rate limits or usage limits (including "fair use" limits);
- use the service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of sanctions or export laws.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules (see section 12).
Fair use
"Unlimited" resume and cover-letter optimisation is for one person's own job search. We may limit automated, bulk or unusual volumes that go beyond normal individual use, and will tell you if we do.
Plans, prices and payment
Plans are prepaid. Prices are shown in your local currency where available; the final price, currency and any tax are shown at checkout. Our reseller and merchant of record (the payment company named at checkout and on your receipt) sells the plan to you and processes payment, tax and invoices; its buyer terms also apply to the purchase. Plan minutes (voice and video) are a monthly allowance. They reset on each monthly renewal date, including on quarterly, half-yearly and annual plans, where you get a fresh allowance each month. Unused plan minutes do not carry over to the next month. Top-up minutes do not expire while you have an active plan, and are used after your monthly minutes. The Try Pack is a one-time purchase, does not renew, and its session must be used within 30 days of purchase.
Automatic renewal
Monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual plans renew automatically at the end of each period at the same price until you cancel. We will tell you by email at least 7 days before a price change applies to you, and before an annual renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time in one click from your account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. There are no cancellation fees.
Refunds and your right of withdrawal
Our refund rules are in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. In short: an unused Try Pack is refundable in full. Because every interview minute costs us to run, plans are generally non-refundable once you've used them. If something isn't right, email us within 7 days of your first plan purchase; we review every request and may offer a full or partial refund as goodwill. Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days (up to 10 for the money to show, depending on your bank). Duplicate charges, and technical failures on our side that stop you using the service, are refunded in full. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
EU and UK consumers: 14-day right of withdrawal. You normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. Because the service is digital content and a digital service supplied immediately, at checkout we ask you to (a) expressly request that we start supplying it straight away and (b) acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been fully supplied (for example the Try Pack's resume has been generated) and, for the service, that you will pay for what you used if you withdraw after it has started. If you withdraw within 14 days of a subscription purchase, you can use the model withdrawal form below or email us, and we will refund you, less a proportionate amount for the service already provided where the law allows. Our goodwill review of first-plan requests made within 7 days is in addition to these rights. Australia: our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure with the service, you are entitled to cancel and get a refund for the unused portion, or compensation for its reduced value.

Your content and our licence
You keep ownership of what you upload and of the documents generated for you. You give us a limited, worldwide licence to host, process and transmit your content only to provide, secure and support the service for you, and to send it to our processors for that purpose. You confirm you have the right to upload it. We don't use your content to train AI models without your separate opt-in consent.
Our intellectual property
The service, its software, templates, design and brand belong to us or our licensors. You may use templates and outputs for your own job applications. You may not copy or resell the service itself.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the service. Where reasonable we'll warn you first and explain why. If we close your account without a breach by you, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period. You may stop using the service and delete your account any time.
Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service available but don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change features; if a change significantly reduces what you paid for, you may cancel and get a pro-rata refund for the unused period. Features marked "coming soon" are not part of any current plan and may change or not launch.
Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that output will be accurate, complete or fit for a particular job, or that using the service will lead to any result. This does not affect your statutory rights, including that digital content and services be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows: (a) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost job opportunities, lost earnings, lost profits or lost data you could have backed up; and (b) our total liability arising from these terms or the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars (or the equivalent in your local currency). Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory consumer rights.
Indemnity
If you are using the service for business purposes, you agree to cover our reasonable losses from claims caused by your breach of these terms or unlawful content you upload. This does not apply to consumers where the law does not allow it.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of India. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring claims in your local courts. Please contact us first at contact@getprepvo.com; most issues can be solved quickly.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes by email or in the app at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.
General
If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them to a successor who continues the service under the same protections. These terms, with the policies linked above, are the entire agreement between us.
